To celebrate the anniversary "50 years of Intercity" in late 2021, 101 110 was designed half in historic and modern IC colours and illustrated with the most important vehicles of this train category. On the 11th of April 2023, this loco passes under the Hacker Bridge near Munich's main station working train EC 216 from Graz to Saarbrücken.
